Author and previous pastor, Samuel O. Enyia in his book, "Be Healed! Challenges and Triumphs of Health and Healing" writes to all those who are afflicted with any disease, sickness or suffering. He offers hope and encouragement to all those that are suffering and hopes they may find help, comfort, inspiration and "… ultimately healing in their own lives." The author encourages the reader to not give up no matter what the circumstances may speak, and encourages those who have faith in Jesus not to give up. Having had his own life threatening challenges and having experienced miraculous healing in his own life, the author is uniquely qualified to testify to the triumphant healing he has received and witnessed in his family members' lives as well. While challenges present themselves, triumphantly and courageously, Enyia boldly proclaims the Gospel and faithfully writes that the healing of Jesus is available to all. This book points the reader to the one Who is the ultimate Healer and Great Physician, Jesus. A much needed book in these times, as many desire recovery and restoration to health.

This book is invaluable in our world today in that it takes a comprehensive look at the subject, and often controversial, issue of divine healing. Going back to the beginning in the Book of Genesis the author takes the reader through a faith filled journey that educates the reader on the origin of sickness, the fall, who is it that heals, the ministry of healing through prayer and Christians, Jesus' mandate and mission, healing gifts, healing in Acts and why are all not healed. Why Everyone's Belief About God Cannot Be True - Gravity, True For You But Not For Me

Many sincere and good people, who have varying beliefs about God, have the right to believe whatever they want. However, everyone's belief cannot be true when it comes to God's existence and identity. This is not uncaring or intolerant; it's simply, as we have just reviewed how truth works. If truth could contradict itself, a Christian and an Atheist would both be correct about God's existence and we know this is impossible.

Suppose you were a detective and six people showed up (an Atheist, Buddhist, Muslim, Mormon, Hindu and Christian) with different stories claiming to be the sole heir of a tremendous fortune. Could they all be telling the truth? No, you would immediately recognize the obvious problem, six people claiming to be the sole heir is a contradiction and could not possibly be true.

Therefore you would check out their stories and follow the evidence to uncover the truth. At some point their explanations would be contradictory to the facts in your investigation. Once you discover who the actual heir is, you would know for certain that the other five claims were false, no matter how close to the truth they appeared.

When it comes to God we have a similar situation. Many people have shown up and claim to know the truth about God. On the surface it may seem like most of them are headed in the same direction. But when we look closer, we see that they all contradict each other when it comes to the most important points, like salvation. Christianity is the sole belief that teaches salvation by God's grace, through faith alone. The others teach works (good deeds) and specific conditions as a necessity. Both can't be right.

SOUTH ASIA (ANS) -- Masara Doshi had a wonderful life. The then 81-year-old woman lived in good health; her family loved her; and even after her husband's death in 2001, she was cared for well.

But one morning in 2004, Masara woke up and couldn't move her legs. She was paralyzed from the waist down.

The whole family was shocked. Masara had been in perfect health up until that day. Her sons immediately brought her to one temple after another, asking the priests to pray and offer sacrifices for her healing. The family also met with witch doctors, and they gave Masara special pills to take. Time went by, and they realized Masara wasn't getting any better-she was getting worse.

Her immune system became weak, and her good health gave way to many different sicknesses. She eventually lost much of her sight and her hearing. Before long, Masara gave up hope and waited to die.

Her family was brokenhearted because of her suffering, but they didn't know what to do or who to turn to for help.

Messengers of Hope

In early 2011, however, two women walked into their village carrying Good News of great joy. Until that day, no one in the village had ever heard of Jesus Christ.

The two Gospel for Asia-supported missionaries, Benita Viswanathan and Esther Singh, knocked on Masara's door. They began telling her sons and daughters-in-law about the Lord's love for them. When Benita and Esther explained that Christ not only forgives people of their sins but also has the power to heal them, a flicker of hope arose in the family's hearts.

Masara's son Ojas began describing his mother's condition to the women and asked them to come inside the house to see her. Benita shared the Good News with Masara, and Esther prayed for her healing. Just before they left, they gave Masara a New Testament.

Women of Prayer

Benita and Esther continued ministering in that village for another week, the whole time fasting and praying for Masara's healing.

Although the Lord did not immediately heal Masara, He continued to work in her heart and in the hearts of her family members. Just days after the women missionaries left the village, He gave the family the faith to trust Him with their lives.

Benita and Esther persisted in prayer for Masara, and the Lord completely healed the elderly woman of her paralysis, vision problems, hearing impairments and sicknesses!

Masara, at 88 years old, actively shares the grace she has found in Jesus Christ with others who have not heard. She has an especially powerful testimony because of the respect her culture gives to elders.

Nearly everyone in her village is interested in knowing more about Christ because of the miracle He performed in her life. And, despite their culture's hostility toward Christianity, 22 villagers have embraced the love of God.

Please pray for Masara's village, that many more people will come to know the Lord's love for them. Please also pray for the ministry of Benita and Esther, that the Lord would continue to bless them.

"Gravity, True For You But Not For Me" by Author Michael Edwards is quite a powerful mini-book that packs the punch, "Big surprises come in little packages," which is an understatement. Perfect for evangelism and originally an e-book, this book addresses every possible question or doubt about Christianity by combining facts, evidence and the truth with biblical principles. This book has the reader examine what is truth, does God exist, can we trust the Bible, did the resurrection really happen, and who did Jesus claim to be. Then by giving a twelve-point conclusion the author ends the journey with a pathway to salvation. Keep several copies of this one in your car, you'll want to hand them out to everyone you meet!

The author states in his opening paragraph of the book, "It's not about religion, it's about truth." The author goes on to explain his purpose for writing the book being that the, "…objective evidence must be considered in order to make an informed decision." Otherwise believing something because your parents believe it, relying on emotions or believing something to be true because you believe it to be true does not make it true; this is called "blind faith," as the author emphatically states. The facts must be examined and as the author continues to write, "Every person deserves at least the chance to examine the facts and make an informed decision."

Compelling, powerful and filled with common sense this book is packed with undeniable factual and scientific basis that clearly state the case for Christianity and why, if you believe or not, the Bible is true for you. Initially, and ingeniously, using the analogy of the law of gravity, the author catches the attention of the reader by stating that the law of gravity is true for everyone whether you have faith in gravity or not; gravity is true for everyone.

In much the same way, the author points the reader to the facts with an easy to read, fast-paced book that examines what truth is, and how best to look at the objective evidence. "Triumph Through Trial, A Story of Renewal" by award winning Christian author Theresa Franklin is an endearing story of the Owens family who went from discord, contention and strife to a new life full of renewal and triumph. Romans 8:28 states (NIV), "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." We can rest assured that even though there are trials, tragedies and hardships in life, if we live our life according to God's plans and purposes, He will work everything out in our life for good. Get ready to sit down, relax and enjoy this beautifully written book full of hope, encouragement and faith through the story of one family that overcame life's adversities through oneness in Christ.

Author, Theresa Franklin does a wonderful job in administering to the heart of families and encouraging families to stick together in love through this fictional short story. We all know what our lives look from the outside. But when we examine our family life from the inside, more than we like to admit, one will find dysfunction in the home. When we come to a place of acknowledging our sins and confessing them to God, God can work on our behalf. The author asks these important questions and urges us all to spend, "…time in front of God's mirror and try to see what those who know you best actually see? Are you a Christian? Have you accepted Christ as your savior?" In that, the author is asking, are you walking the walk and talking the talk? So many people profess to be Christians, but as Christians we should be exhibiting love, respect and service to our families in the home as well. If not, this book will lead the way to a new path of wholeness in Christ for families.

Driven by emotions, control, negativity, judgment and perfectionism, Cynthia is in complete denial of her behavior towards her family members. Severely affected, the husband is miserable, and her children avoid her as much as possible. Inevitably when there is dysfunction in the home, the author states, the stress can be measured in emotional and physical illnesses. Although the book is a fictional story, the author has described a very real and believable picture of how life is in our own families sometimes. The Owens family is torn from the inside out, due to stresses from the contention and discord caused by one family member suffering from deep emotional wounds caused from her own dysfunctional childhood.

This book is truly a blessing to families and the body of Christ. The author, through the use of scriptures and examples of family life, paints a wonderful picture of how life can be through the love and redemption of Jesus Christ. The author promotes family in this story of healing and encourages others, that "…love covereth a multitude of sins." Families will find solace and comfort through this book. Theresa's Franklin's writing style flows smoothly making for an easy read, keeping the reader fully engaged. This book will minister to all families that are "less than perfect." A highly recommend, encouraging read that will impact others for Christ. God can work in any situation, as the author illustrates, even the impossible ones.
