What is the answer to the so called environmental problem? How about paying more fees when you smog your car, of paying more fees to drive your car, maybe more gasoline taxes might help, or more stimulus money. Maybe higher electric bills, higher gas bills, fines for using to little water or maybe fines for using diapers. Have you ever notice how the answer to the environmental problem is more money out of your pocket. It's like there is this scream about the enviorment and it has a long arm that desires to dig into your pockets.

Well we can land on the moon, soar the solar system, destroy complete cities with bombs, invent great ideas, built entire cities and when you think about it we could also invent, design and put into place huge air filter systems within our communities that would filter the air. In fact, the amount of money spent on the Iraq war would probably have provided the funds to build a clean air system to filter and clean the air for an entire city like Chicago.

My point being, is that where there is a will, there is a way. Just like landing on the moon and our space programs.

Have you ever been there? If you have children, I bet you have. It's like where do they put it all? How is it possible to eat and eat and eat and still be skinny. Kid's eat and eat and eat. They also play, and play and play and run, and jump and play and run some more. I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

I don't know which is harder. Getting older or being a father. Both are definitely challenging at times. Well, I'm off, we are now having chocolate sundays with cherries (multiple) on top. I guess I should enjoy this, before long she will be asking for a new car.

We should all have a wonderful beautiful aroma about us, and not that of spoiled rotten eggs.

Have you ever encountered a situation when someone owed you money that they promised to give to you, yet you never received it. Or maybe someone promised to take care of another matter, yet that too never came to pass. Next think you know, the person does everything they can to avoid you. That's because they don't want to be held accountable.

What the don't realize it that they are accountable and their actions or shall we say non actions will catch up with them and many times they will be multiplied bakc upon them in other areas of their life. You see, we all reap what we sow and if we sow dishonesty and broken promises, we will reap the fruit of such things.

Have you ever noticed how sometimes people's true colors shine through and the colors are the complete opposite of what they wanted you and others to think about them? Only to realize that you have been handed a continuous flow of deception and lies? It amazes me how some people use and abuse others basically to make up for their own miserable worthless lives. Many times you can even see the fruits of such people in their children do to the dysfunctional family and dysfunctional family lifestyle. It's sad because their lives are filled with endless scars, headaches, and metal illnesses and the affects upon the children lead to emotional problems, anger management problems, guilt, shame, embarrassments, and they become disconnected from reality.

Know this, they do not go un noticed and while they think they have pulled the wool over the eye's of many, in time, they will be exposed. You see, those who cast evil and wickedness upon others in the end become ensnared in their own ways. Life becomes endlessly painful for them, they continue to encounter emotional, mental and even health problems that soon overtake them. It's really sad to see a life and the lives of others waste away and decay like that. It's a long, slow and very painful death, yet death is withheld from them.

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.

The pursuit of success can take on many shapes and forms. Usually a thought comes forth, an idea. Then that thought or idea is put into motion. Very much like planting seeds in the ground. The seeds must be good seeds, the soil must be good soil and the process requires patience for growth.

The key is not quitting after you've cultivated the soil and planted the seeds. If fear of failure sets in and you walk away, the weeds may grow up and destroy your harvest.

Never give up on your dreams, don't change course in mid stream and be careful of people that stick their nose in your river. For they may end up like beavers that create dams and stop the rivers flow.

Sometimes we all seem to give up and quit just a tad too soon. It's like the sardines vs. the tuna. We plan our game plan, put things into motion and then right about the time it's time to set sail, we give in and quit. Sad. Other times we do all our homework, put our plans into motion and start bragging about our accomplishments before we win the race only to give up because something fell short of our desires. The reality is that success is staying the course and finishing what we set out to do.

Now who would want a bucket of sardines when you could have some huge nets filled with tuna? Imagine the captain of a ship setting sail for a big catch, for tons of tuna only to set anchor just outside the break water. Can you see the sea gulls feasting on the spoiled sardines? Many times that is exactly what we do. Rather than staying the course and sometimes even facing our fears, we throw in the towel.

There is more to writing sayings that pushing them or selling them to others. You must live them. Otherwise your flame burns out.

I encountered a dream last January. There was this man and he appeared to be like a professor. At least he thought he was. He had all his books and papers in front of him on a table. He was speaking as if to a large crowd. In front of the man were rows and rows of chairs. The chairs were all empty, yet the man continued with his speech as if all the chairs had people sitting in them. The man was speaking and teaching to empty chairs. It was only a dream.

What colors does your character and personality give off? Are you a beautiful rainbow or a headache? Are your colors full or transparent? Do people like you or put up with you? Do people enjoy you or walk away wondering if you're all there. Do you see yourself as beautiful colors while others see you as colorless?

Do you know him? He's full of idea's. He's a master at sharing things. He has volumes of great ideas, endless projects on the board, and he's constantly thinking up new ones. The wheels of his mind are full of great accomplishments. The racing thoughts fuel his very existence and he sounds off at every listening ear the very thoughts that consume him. Like a speeding racing thought, the next thoughts come into play, and the world is his play ground.

Success escapes him as fear of failure takes rule over him. For it's easier to create another new idea than it is to complete the ones already on the table. Like a frog leaping from leap to leap, as the battlefield of the mind unfolds.

He's an imaginary idealist just waiting for the next chapter of his mind to unfold ...

Building blocks that lead to a successful future are not made up of broken covenants, but accountability and being held accountable to covenants. Is it live or memorex, one asks? The answer is that it's written on a scroll.

Have you ever noticed how soft words, words of encouragement and words of hope can bring healing to peoples situations and circumstances. Yet words of condemnation, bitterness and hatred bring destruction, emotional heartaches and rotten fruit forth.

Seeds of love and compassion, words of healing.
Speak them.

They say it's easier to pull a mouse out of a hat than a theme park out of a mouse. Interesting. Try telling that to the mouse.

Those old sayings. Life is filled with them. There's millions online, in books and in the halls of time. Here's one that stands true;

"You reap, what you sow". Therefore, sow good things.

Have you ever been on the opposite end of the silent treatment? It's really nothing new. Just another form of communication by not communicating.

It's almost like a poison. But then again, there's that old saying that we reap what we sow.

Do you have some mending to do? Maybe a relational situation, maybe something your running from, or maybe your actions just seemed to fall short? It's never too late to have what is written, blotted out. It's never to late to mend broken fences.
